Dr. Pradeep Ghia
Dr. Pradeep Ghia is an accomplished physician in Pennsylvania. Now retired, he spent the past three decades in private practice as a cardiologist. As the president of his office, he oversaw the work of four cardiologists and provided patients with everything from stress tests and cardiac catheterizations to pacemakers. Possessing a particular feel for managing congestive heart failure and heart attacks, Dr. Pradeep Ghia had the opportunity to present before an American College of Cardiology meeting about the ability of low-level stress testing to help physicians recognize patients who have a high risk of suffering a heart attack.
Board-certified in both cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Ghia began his successful career after graduating with an MBBS from the Seth G.S. Medical College in India. During his final year in school, he participated in a rotating internship that gave him practical experience in areas such as performing minor surgeries and delivering babies. Dr. Pradeep Ghia subsequently relocated to Pennsylvania where he completed a residency in psychiatry at Hahnemann Hospital, an internship and residency in medicine at Easton Hospital, and a fellowship in cardiology at Geisinger Medical Center. He went into private practice shortly after his fellowship.
